This is the newest project from Downs Industries, the 67 vette roadster. this is the prototype body and rolling chassis using Art Morrison rails, C6 front suspension and Dana 9 inch rear. we displayed the body at the Columbus Goodguys event in July 2009 in our Ohio dealers display. Hi Tek Hot Rods displayed the unit along side the Downs 59 Vette and received a great response.
The 67 roadster will be displayed in the Dibz booth at Louisville KY Street Rod Nationals.
Downs Ind. will begin tooling the body immediatley following the show.
Downs just completed the tooling of the 62 vette project and will begin delivering bodies during the month of Aug. 2009.
